History of MAPP

In February 1990, MAPP was certified by the Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board as the sole bargaining agent for Halifax City Police Constables and civilians. In 1992 the officers and NCO's Association joined MAPP. In 1995 Dartmouth and Bedford Police Associations joined MAPP which currently represents 637 sworn and civilian personnel and is a self-governing, progressive labor Union.
